We are based in Nairobi, Kenya but available to travel worldwide. Food, transport, accommodation and other travel-related costs for shoots outside Nairobi are charged separately.

This really depends on the requirements of each individual job.

We offer commercial photography based on advanced techniques so you can get the best photographs, tailored to your needs and requirements. Most quotes are made up of a photography fee for either a full-day, half-day or hourly rate, plus a fee for post-production. Advanced retouching is available at an additional cost. Our minimum fee is Kshs. 15,000 for a shoot that lasts an hour. Other costs such as travel and studio hire are quoted based on the requirements of the job.

For our portraiture, we do a variation of candid, natural-looking shots and dramatically lit fashion/ glamor posed shots. 

Our video style is cinematic story telling.

For our advertising work, we provide the option for clean classic work (especially for pack shots) as well as creative out-of-the box concepts and execution. 

A booking is secured by making a 50% downpayment on the total amount. The balance is payable on delivery of the final product.

We do both studio and on-location/ outdoor shoots depending on the client’s requirements.

Unless otherwise stated, images and videos are sent via a wetransfer/ dropbox link on email. Flash drives are available at an additional cost. Alternatively, a client may provide an external drive. The images provided are optimised for web. High resolution images are available on request.

Some packages include physical deliverables while others are only in soft copy.  Prints and frames are available at an extra cost.

There’s no specific amount; we aim to take as many as possible during the time booked but the number can vary depending on the product and what the client is after. We always make sure our clients have plenty of images to choose from. 

Unless stated otherwise in a contract, image copyright always remain with rubanipix ltd. Our clients however are granted the rights to use the images wherever they please. In return, we request that the images are credited back to us wherever possible, especially for internet or editorial use.

It is an outline of the photographic requirements of the job. While not compulsory, a good brief will clearly state a description of the finished imagery being sought thus allowing us to prepare adequately, determine the creative, and production requirements, as well as give you an accurate quote. It also ensures that our clients receive the amazing final product they had in mind.

We are not a graphic design firm but can work closely with your designers or recommend one for you.

We are happy to work with your make up artist. Alternatively, we have a number of make up artists that we work with. We are happy to share a quote that’s specific to your project.

This really depends on the individual job. Most photos need processing whether it’s something as simple as cropping or resizing or skin retouching. Some images such as product shots may need more editing and retouching. 5-7 days is a standard turnaround time on many personal and commercial photography jobs but this can vary. 14 days are standard for video work. Weddings require 30-60 days to deliver depending on the time of year.

Yes we do but mostly for advertising/ commercial work For personal/ family portraiture, our focus is on capturing families in their natural environment rather than in a studio. Kids are more comfortable at home or in the open since it’s a place they are used to. In addition to that, if need be, we can set up a studio on location.
